The games have sound and images to aid with listening, pronunciation and getting used to native speaker pronunciation and speed. through 5 different areas of the application students will practice and solidify the vocabulary and use. There are grammar practice sections that provide additional practice with reading and writing.
This game focuses on prepositions of place vocabulary for students to learn English pronunciation, spelling and vocabulary usage. The games focus heavily on proper use of prepositions with wh- questions All of the listening activities are at normal native speaker speeds but students can listen to questions and answers as many times as they need to understand. These ESL learning applications follow the Speaking First ESL Curriculum - Unit 5 from MES English.
The questions and answers for this game are as follows.
A: Is the ball in the box?
B: Yes, it is./No, it's not.
Other notes:
The spelling section will accept just the preposition or the full prepositional phrase - 'in' or 'in the box'
The game focus heavily on being able to form wh- questions with 'where'.

There are about 150 prepositions in English. Yet this is a very small number when you think of the thousands of other words (nouns, verbs etc). Prepositions are important words. We use individual prepositions more frequently than other individual words. In fact, the prepositions of, to and in are among the ten most frequent words in English.
