But in an attempt to keep Pat Sullivan’s name in the Cam for Heisman story lines pertaining to Auburn’s history with the trophy, almost all of which are revolving and will continue to revolve around the 25th anniversary, “once in a generation” parallels between the incredible Bo Jackson and the incredible Cam Newton, (and in an attempt to connect Cam Newton to any and everything we post, even if from the TWERchives, and as excuse to post anything from the TWERchives at all), let us consider the syntax of Mark Ingram’s “endorsement” of Cam Newton for Heisman on today’s The Dan Patrick Show.

Per the talent-poaching CBS Sports’ College Football Blog:

That’s right, Ingram “wouldn’t have no problem” voting for Newton. Could it be that Ingram is intentionally using the double-negative to throw off the scent, and that he has no intention of voting for Newton?
